Car.co.uk gave me a reasonable price
Car.co.uk gave me a reasonable price to scrap my car, all the booking online was straightforward and they were able to collect it the next working day. The driver let me know exactly when he was coming and 2 minutes after he had arrived, the car was gone with no issues. He was very polite and friendly. No complaints :)

Highly recommended !!
Car.co.uk offered the best price by far out of all the sites I had got quotes from. The whole process was really easy to arrange and sort out a collection. I had a few enquiries and the different guys that I spoke to at customer enquiries was really friendly and helpful. I asked for an early/ first pick up and was told they would do their best. The night before I received a text asking if a 6:30am pick up would be possible. I agreed. Earlier the better for me. The morning of the pick up I had a call from the driver (John) who informed me he wasn’t far and sure enough he arrived on the agreed time. When he arrived he was so helpful and really friendly. The car was on the back of the lorry and paperwork sorted all within 15 mins. Can’t recommend these guys enough and I would definitely use again.

Great service
I recently had my old car collected and I couldn’t be happier with the service. From start to finish, everything was handled smoothly and I was kept informed throughout the whole process. The driver, Roy, was excellent – really friendly, professional, and informative, which made the whole experience easy and stress-free. The payment was transferred instantly upon collection, which was a huge plus. Overall, a fantastic service and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to scrap their car.

First class company
There's a very good reason why this company has such a high trust pilot rating, and it's not because of bots or ai fake reviews!! It's nice to leave a good review for a genuinely well run and professional outfit. Firstly , they offer the best price. Secondly , no sucking in of air or false advertising, put in reg, they give you a price, simple.... The pick up driver Shaun was very polite, concise and to the point. From begining to end a good experience, and a well deserved reputation.

Dropdown Icon

No, you won't have to be present in person when we collect your scrap car in Norwich. You can have another person meet the driver, as long as they're over 18. They just need the required documents and ID, and we'll explain the entire process to keep the handover straightforward and hassle free.

We'll help you with everything that needs sorting before free scrap collection.

How do I avoid scrap car scams in Norwich?
Dropdown Icon

Unfortunately, scrap car scams are a genuine risk in Norwich, so it's best to avoid cash-in-hand deals, unlicensed collectors and last-minute price drops on the day your scrap vehicle is collected. Legitimate payments are always made by bank transfer, as paying cash for cars is prohibited under the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013. Car.co.uk is the safer route, as we have 15,000+ positive reviews and provide guidance on the entire scrapping process.

No, you won't need to have the keys in order to scrap your car. Missing keys are a common issue, but it won't prevent our free vehicle collection service or affect the price for your car. Your vehicle can still be loaded using specialist equipment, and condition and recycling value matter more than if there are keys present.
