That consignment note has three parts, each with a different owner. As the fleet operator, you're the waste producer. You complete Parts A and B before the vehicle moves, and sign Part D when the carrier arrives.

The transporting business completes Part C and ensures the note travels with the vehicle to its destination.

When we scrap a vehicle, we issue Certificates of Destruction and handle DVLA deregistration, so your business is legally in the clear from the moment the vehicle is collected. Payment is always by bank transfer (no cash), which is both a legal requirement and a paper trail you'll want for your own records.

From there, materials are sorted for recycling, with UK ATFs required to recover at least 95% of a vehicle's weight and recycle a minimum of 85%.
