Right from the start was smooth running, so got a good quote online. Booked in picked up for next day. Lovely guy called tony called me hour before to say hell be with me within the hour. Tony arrived explained whats going to happen I gave him all the bits he needed and he was so fast at getting my car started , moved and loaded up on his lorry. The process was very straightforward, the vehicle was collected on the day agreed - I received a call when the driver was 30 minutes away. The driver 'Darren' was knowledgeable and a complete professional. All inspections carried out, documents sorted and on his pick up in under 30 minutes. Whole process was really easy and completely fuss free from start to finish. Entered my postcode and registration online and was given a price straight away without having to sign up to anything. Do I have to be present when the car is collected?

No. We do need someone to be with the car when it’s picked up, but it doesn’t have to be the registered keeper or owner. We ask that your nominated person has a form of photo ID with them that they can show our collection partner – a driving licence or passport is fine. If you cannot supply a V5C document with your car, we also ask that your chosen person is also able to show a utility bill dated that’s dated within the last 3 months.

Will you buy my scrap car in Birmingham if it has flat tyres?

What is an ATF?

ATF is short for Authorised Treatment Facility – another name for a vehicle scrapyard, breaker’s yard or dismantler that meets with government approval. An authorised facility follows strict guidelines that ensure vehicles go through a thorough depollution process - before parts are disposed of or recycled.

My circumstances have changed, and I no longer want to scrap my car. Is that okay?

Can I be paid for my car before you collect?

What do I do with the V5C document?
