Do I have to be present when the car is collected?

No. We do need someone to be with the car when it’s picked up, but it doesn’t have to be the registered keeper or owner. We ask that your nominated person has a form of photo ID with them that they can show our collection partner – a driving licence or passport is fine. If you cannot supply a V5C document with your car, we also ask that your chosen person is also able to show a utility bill dated that’s dated within the last 3 months.

Will you buy my scrap car in Birmingham if it has flat tyres?

What is an ATF?

ATF is short for Authorised Treatment Facility – another name for a vehicle scrapyard, breaker’s yard or dismantler that meets with government approval. An authorised facility follows strict guidelines that ensure vehicles go through a thorough depollution process - before parts are disposed of or recycled.

My circumstances have changed, and I no longer want to scrap my car. Is that okay?

Can I be paid for my car before you collect?
