Is my car considered an ‘ELV’ if I’m scrapping it?

If you’re ready for your car to be scrapped – then yes, it’s likely that it’ll then be considered an End of Life Vehicle (ELV). Generally, cars become ELVs as a result of accident damage or long-term wear and tear. ELVs must be scrapped at government authorised facilities.

Can I nominate a friend to be with the car when it’s collected?
