Highly recommend - 10/10 service
Whole process was really easy and completely fuss free from start to finish. Entered my postcode and registration online and was given a price straight away without having to sign up to anything. The price offered was better than anywhere else. Selected a date and time that suited me for collection and booked in a matter of minutes. Really clear information was given about the collection process via email. Collection day arrived and the guy who came was really friendly. Quick check of the car, loaded onto the truck and received the money within minutes. I would highly recommend this company as it was so easy, no hidden terms and conditions and an all round great experience.

Highly recommended !!
Car.co.uk offered the best price by far out of all the sites I had got quotes from. The whole process was really easy to arrange and sort out a collection. I had a few enquiries and the different guys that I spoke to at customer enquiries was really friendly and helpful. I asked for an early/ first pick up and was told they would do their best. The night before I received a text asking if a 6:30am pick up would be possible. I agreed. Earlier the better for me. The morning of the pick up I had a call from the driver (John) who informed me he wasn’t far and sure enough he arrived on the agreed time. When he arrived he was so helpful and really friendly. The car was on the back of the lorry and paperwork sorted all within 15 mins. Can’t recommend these guys enough and I would definitely use again.

A Top-Tier Car Selling Experience
I just sold my car with Car.co.uk and I have to say, the whole process was incredibly smooth. I got an online quote, and everything went exactly as they said it would. The collection was scheduled at my house, which was super convenient. The driver was a true professional—they were not only efficient but also very kind. As soon as the car was collected, the payment landed in my bank account immediately, which was a fantastic surprise. I highly recommend Car.co.uk for anyone looking to sell their car without any hassle.

Quick, easy, great service, decent price.
Organised it to be collected, driver (Tony) was in contact throughout the collection day to keep me posted. 10 minutes and I was paid and he was gone! Great service, Tony was very friendly and efficient. Definitely will use this service again in the future, been with WeBuyAnyCar a few times and for convenience, this blows them out of the water (all circumstantial of course). Couldn’t have asked for more, really helpful.

Do I need to be present for the collection in Falmouth?
Dropdown Icon

No, you do not need to be present when we collect your car in Falmouth. You can nominate someone aged 18 or over, provided they have access to the vehicle and paperwork. Tell us beforehand so the handover remains secure and straightforward without delays on collection day.

Can I scrap a car without a V5C logbook?
Dropdown Icon

How long does it take to scrap my car in Falmouth?
Dropdown Icon

Same-day or next-day collection is often available when you scrap a car in Falmouth. Get an online quote in around 30 seconds, choose your slot and receive bank transfer on collection. Traffic on the A39 or B3292 may affect arrival times slightly from addresses, while an eligible Certificate of Destruction is normally issued within seven days, keeping the whole process quick, clear and properly documented.

Do I need to provide keys for my car?
Dropdown Icon

Will I receive a Certificate of Destruction?
Dropdown Icon

Yes, a Certificate of Destruction is issued within seven days when the vehicle is scrapped and eligible. It confirms the car entered the end-of-life process, while DVLA notification removes the previous keeper from the official register and ends all further responsibility.

Can I scrap a car with outstanding finance?
Dropdown Icon

No, outstanding finance must be settled before the vehicle is scrapped, unless the lender gives written consent. The finance provider retains a legal interest, so contact it and check the agreement first. Once the balance or permission is resolved, you can complete the quote and collection process without delay.

Do I need to notify the DVLA when I scrap my car?
Dropdown Icon

No, Car.co.uk handles DVLA notification through the Certificate of Destruction process, but you must provide accurate V5C details. Dropdown Icon

Commercial vehicles may achieve a stronger price because their greater kerb weight, reusable components and working parts can add meaningful value beyond standard scrap metal alone during valuation locally today.
