Outstanding service A*****
The process was very straightforward, the vehicle was collected on the day agreed - I received a call when the driver was 30 minutes away. The driver 'Darren' was knowledgeable and a complete professional. All inspections carried out, documents sorted and on his pick up in under 30 minutes. The money was processed to my bank very shortly after. Will definitely recommend and would not hesitate using your company again.

Quick, easy, great service, decent price.
Organised it to be collected, driver (Tony) was in contact throughout the collection day to keep me posted. 10 minutes and I was paid and he was gone! Great service, Tony was very friendly and efficient. Definitely will use this service again in the future, been with WeBuyAnyCar a few times and for convenience, this blows them out of the water (all circumstantial of course). Couldn’t have asked for more, really helpful.

Highly recommend - 10/10 service
Whole process was really easy and completely fuss free from start to finish. Entered my postcode and registration online and was given a price straight away without having to sign up to anything. The price offered was better than anywhere else. Selected a date and time that suited me for collection and booked in a matter of minutes. Really clear information was given about the collection process via email. Collection day arrived and the guy who came was really friendly. Quick check of the car, loaded onto the truck and received the money within minutes. I would highly recommend this company as it was so easy, no hidden terms and conditions and an all round great experience.

First class company
There's a very good reason why this company has such a high trust pilot rating, and it's not because of bots or ai fake reviews!! It's nice to leave a good review for a genuinely well run and professional outfit. Firstly , they offer the best price. Secondly , no sucking in of air or false advertising, put in reg, they give you a price, simple.... The pick up driver Shaun was very polite, concise and to the point. From begining to end a good experience, and a well deserved reputation.

Scrap your Lotus FAQs

Should I fix my Lotus or let it be scrapped?
Dropdown Icon

This depends on the car’s condition, model, and market value. Repairing it might not be worth the car’s value; sometimes, scrapping is the only way to get a good deal on your Lotus. Luckily, Car.co.uk lets you figure out your Lotus car’s true scrap value.

How much does it cost to fix a Lotus suspension?
Dropdown Icon

Lotus suspensions can range from £500 for minor repairs to more than £2,500 for an overhaul; this depends on the model and specific work required. Labour rates can be higher due to the brand’s intricate engineering.

Do Lotus engines fail often?
Dropdown Icon

Engine failures are relatively rare among Lotus owners, with problems usually due to owner modifications and a lack of proper maintenance. Their Toyota-based engines are known for their dependability and longevity, but with age, they can malfunction due to typical wear and tear.

Can a broken Lotus chassis be repaired?
Dropdown Icon

Yes, a Lotus chassis can sometimes be repaired, though depending on your car’s current value, it might not be worth it. Lotus cars have quite complicated extruded aluminium sections - which means their repairs are more complex. Scrapping your Lotus might be a better use of your time.

What is the scrap value for a Lotus?
Dropdown Icon

Lotus scrap values typically range from £200 to £400, though this depends on the car’s weight, condition, and reusable parts. Lotus cars may be light sports vehicles, but they have valuable components that can make up for their lower weight.

Is it difficult to get parts for older Lotus models?
Dropdown Icon

It can take more effort to source parts for older Lotus models, particularly compared to modern, mass-produced cars. Specialist suppliers maintain an inventory of new and used parts for older models, but challenges can arise when seeking specific trim, interior pieces, or body panels.
