The youngest SEAT we’ve scrapped in the UK was a 6-year-old Arona from 2019, showing that even relatively new cars can fall victim to faults and accidents.

The highest-mileage SEAT we’ve handled is a Leon with 320,042 miles on the clock. That’s almost three times the average mileage of 125,899.

Scrap your SEAT FAQs

Can I scrap my SEAT if I don’t have the V5C logbook?

You can still scrap your SEAT without the V5C logbook. It helps, but it’s not a deal-breaker. We’ll ask for a bit of extra information to confirm you’re the owner, and you’ll need a photo ID. If the V5C has been lost, you can notify DVLA as usual after collection.

Can I scrap my SEAT car if it has outstanding finance?

If your SEAT still has outstanding finance, you can’t scrap it until the finance is settled. The lender technically owns the vehicle, and car scrapyards won’t touch it. The best move is to check your settlement figure, clear it, then book a collection.

How quickly can you pick up my SEAT after I accept the quote?

Same-day collection for a SEAT with us is sometimes possible, depending on where you are and driver availability. If you need it gone because it’s blocking a driveway or you’re moving house, mention that when booking. Even if it can’t be same-day, next-day is doable.
