Right from the start was smooth…
Right from the start was smooth running, so got a good quote online. Booked in picked up for next day. Lovely guy called tony called me hour before to say hell be with me within the hour. Tony arrived explained whats going to happen I gave him all the bits he needed and he was so fast at getting my car started , moved and loaded up on his lorry. Then as soon as he clicked confirm the payment was in my account. Very fast very happy .. very reliable id definately recommend this company to scrap your car with. Thank you for such a smooth fast process.

Very easy transaction.
Very easy transaction. Easy to book, collection person phoned to say exactly what time they were arriving. I just left him to it and collection took around 10 mins including taking photos of my id and the car. Sad to see my car go as its been a really good car but too much wrong with it now. Payment was not immediate, took around an hour and a half. No fuss, no sweat, very easy.

Outstanding service A*****
The process was very straightforward, the vehicle was collected on the day agreed - I received a call when the driver was 30 minutes away. The driver 'Darren' was knowledgeable and a complete professional. All inspections carried out, documents sorted and on his pick up in under 30 minutes. The money was processed to my bank very shortly after. Will definitely recommend and would not hesitate using your company again.

First class company
There's a very good reason why this company has such a high trust pilot rating, and it's not because of bots or ai fake reviews!! It's nice to leave a good review for a genuinely well run and professional outfit. Firstly , they offer the best price. Secondly , no sucking in of air or false advertising, put in reg, they give you a price, simple.... The pick up driver Shaun was very polite, concise and to the point. From begining to end a good experience, and a well deserved reputation.

The average kerb weight for a Saab in one of our scrapyards is 1,568kg. That’s on the lighter side, as the UK average kerb weight is around 1,900kg.

The youngest Saab we’ve scrapped is a 14-year-old Turbo from 2011. That’s relatively young for this category, showing Saab is a durable brand.

Scrap your Saab FAQs

What do I need on the day to scrap my Saab?
Dropdown Icon

Have your photo ID and V5C logbook handy. If the V5C has gone missing, don’t panic - we can still usually collect, but you’ll confirm ownership details when booking. After pickup, we handle the DVLA notification and can provide a Certificate of Destruction on request. If you’re ready to scrap your Saab, get your free quote today at Car.co.uk so you can learn more about your options.

My Saab doesn’t run - will that change the price or collection?
Dropdown Icon

We collect Saabs that won’t start, won’t move or have failed mid-repair - collection is still free nationwide at Car.co.uk, but be honest about the condition so we send the right equipment. If it needs winching or the wheels are seized, we can plan for it rather than tuning up and wasting everyone’s time.

How fast can you collect my Saab and pay me?
Dropdown Icon

We can arrange collection the same day or the next day. However, it depends on driver routes and demand. When you book at Car.co.uk, choose the earliest slot that suits you and keep your phone handy in case the driver updates the timing. Payment is sent by bank transfer right after collection is completed, so you’re not waiting around for funds to clear.

Can you take my Saab if I don’t have the keys?
Dropdown Icon

Yes, in many cases we can collect a Saab without keys. Tell us upfront when you book so the right truck turns up. If the car is locked in or sat in a garage, collection may need more planning.

Can I take parts off my Saab before it’s collected?
Dropdown Icon

You can remove personal items and, if you want, a private plate before collection. Just make sure anything you take off doesn’t make the car dangerous to load - no loose batteries, leaking fluids or half-detached bumpers. If you’re thinking of stripping parts to sell, mention it when booking, because it can change the quote.
