Great service
I recently had my old car collected and I couldn’t be happier with the service. From start to finish, everything was handled smoothly and I was kept informed throughout the whole process. The driver, Roy, was excellent – really friendly, professional, and informative, which made the whole experience easy and stress-free. The payment was transferred instantly upon collection, which was a huge plus. Overall, a fantastic service and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to scrap their car.

First class company
There's a very good reason why this company has such a high trust pilot rating, and it's not because of bots or ai fake reviews!! It's nice to leave a good review for a genuinely well run and professional outfit. Firstly , they offer the best price. Secondly , no sucking in of air or false advertising, put in reg, they give you a price, simple.... The pick up driver Shaun was very polite, concise and to the point. From begining to end a good experience, and a well deserved reputation.

Highly recommend - 10/10 service
Whole process was really easy and completely fuss free from start to finish. Entered my postcode and registration online and was given a price straight away without having to sign up to anything. The price offered was better than anywhere else. Selected a date and time that suited me for collection and booked in a matter of minutes. Really clear information was given about the collection process via email. Collection day arrived and the guy who came was really friendly. Quick check of the car, loaded onto the truck and received the money within minutes. I would highly recommend this company as it was so easy, no hidden terms and conditions and an all round great experience.

Car.co.uk gave me a reasonable price
Car.co.uk gave me a reasonable price to scrap my car, all the booking online was straightforward and they were able to collect it the next working day. The driver let me know exactly when he was coming and 2 minutes after he had arrived, the car was gone with no issues. He was very polite and friendly. No complaints :)

Highly recommended !!
Car.co.uk offered the best price by far out of all the sites I had got quotes from. The whole process was really easy to arrange and sort out a collection. I had a few enquiries and the different guys that I spoke to at customer enquiries was really friendly and helpful. I asked for an early/ first pick up and was told they would do their best. The night before I received a text asking if a 6:30am pick up would be possible. I agreed. Earlier the better for me. The morning of the pick up I had a call from the driver (John) who informed me he wasn’t far and sure enough he arrived on the agreed time. When he arrived he was so helpful and really friendly. The car was on the back of the lorry and paperwork sorted all within 15 mins. Can’t recommend these guys enough and I would definitely use again.

The oldest Fiat we scrapped was a 37-year-old Ducato, registered in 1988. As a light commercial vehicle, it makes sense that it was on the road for so long.

Scrap your Fiat FAQs

Is it worth fixing my Fiat, or should I scrap it?
Dropdown Icon

Whether you decide to repair or scrap your Fiat depends on the cost of repairs, your car’s current value, and your personal budget and needs. In some cases, it’s a better financial decision to scrap your car rather than pay for expensive repairs that can persist.

Can I scrap my Fiat if it has failed its MOT?
Dropdown Icon

Yes, you can scrap your Fiat even if it has failed its MOT. This is a common reason why vehicles are scrapped, particularly when the cost of repairs exceeds the car's value. As long as you use a licensed ATF to scrap your car, like through Car.co.uk, you can scrap your Fiat. Since you can’t legally drive the car without a valid MOT on public roads, our service allows us to collect the vehicle for you.

Can I scrap a Fiat that has engine or gearbox problems?
Dropdown Icon

Yes, you can still scrap your Fiat if it has an engine or gearbox problem. ATFs accept vehicles in various conditions, including non-runners and write-offs. With your V5C registration and proof of identity, you can arrange free collection with Car.co.uk at a time and location that suits you.

What Fiat models are most likely to be scrapped in the UK?
Dropdown Icon

The most frequently scrapped Fiat models in the UK are the Fiat Punto, 500, and Panda. This tends to be common in cars from older generations, often due to reliability issues or high repair costs as they age.

How much is my Fiat worth as scrap?
Dropdown Icon

The scrap price for Fiats can vary greatly, but typically ranges from £100 to £500. This price changes depending on weight, model, condition, fluctuations in the scrap metal market, and the condition of the engine and transmission. Once you request a quote with Car.co.uk, your price will be guaranteed for a week to protect both parties from fluctuations in the scrap metal market.
