Great service
I recently had my old car collected and I couldn’t be happier with the service. From start to finish, everything was handled smoothly and I was kept informed throughout the whole process. The driver, Roy, was excellent – really friendly, professional, and informative, which made the whole experience easy and stress-free. The payment was transferred instantly upon collection, which was a huge plus. Overall, a fantastic service and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to scrap their car.

First class company
There's a very good reason why this company has such a high trust pilot rating, and it's not because of bots or ai fake reviews!! It's nice to leave a good review for a genuinely well run and professional outfit. Firstly , they offer the best price. Secondly , no sucking in of air or false advertising, put in reg, they give you a price, simple.... The pick up driver Shaun was very polite, concise and to the point. From begining to end a good experience, and a well deserved reputation.

They do what they say they do. Excellent.
I was contacted well in advance regarding the collection of my vehicle. Steve the driver phoned me and asked if he could collect sooner than booked. This was OK with me. When he arrived he was friendly and courteous and because of the advanced notification, gave me time to have everything ready for the handover. The money was transferred to my account within minutes. A great service and one that I would recommend to anyone wanting to dispose of a vehicle.

Quick, easy, great service, decent price.
Organised it to be collected, driver (Tony) was in contact throughout the collection day to keep me posted. 10 minutes and I was paid and he was gone! Great service, Tony was very friendly and efficient. Definitely will use this service again in the future, been with WeBuyAnyCar a few times and for convenience, this blows them out of the water (all circumstantial of course). Couldn’t have asked for more, really helpful.

Highly recommended !!
Car.co.uk offered the best price by far out of all the sites I had got quotes from. The whole process was really easy to arrange and sort out a collection. I had a few enquiries and the different guys that I spoke to at customer enquiries was really friendly and helpful. I asked for an early/ first pick up and was told they would do their best. The night before I received a text asking if a 6:30am pick up would be possible. I agreed. Earlier the better for me. The morning of the pick up I had a call from the driver (John) who informed me he wasn’t far and sure enough he arrived on the agreed time. When he arrived he was so helpful and really friendly. The car was on the back of the lorry and paperwork sorted all within 15 mins. Can’t recommend these guys enough and I would definitely use again.

Scrap Land Rover statistics in the UK

bulb-icon

The oldest Land Rover we’ve handled was an E-Class from 1991, making it 34 years old - significantly more than the average. This shows it’s still worth scrapping your car well into its fourth decade.

bulb-icon

The lowest-mileage Land Rover we’ve seen is a Freelander with 16,841 miles. This isn’t too low, but it shows any motor can end up scrapped long before its “time” due to serious faults or accidents.

bulb-icon

The Land Rovers we’ve quoted have had an average kerb weight of 1,976 kilograms, one of the heaviest for any makes in the UK. This generally means more metal, which translates into higher scrap quotes.

bulb-icon

49.71% of Land Rovers were manual, but automatics (48.16%) weren’t far behind; this is one of the most even splits we’ve seen in the UK. The remaining 2.12% used alternative transmission types.

Dropdown Icon

Yes, you can scrap your Land Rover even after it’s written off, but you must still own the vehicle once it reaches this point. The insurance company will pay you your car’s total value minus its salvage value. You can scrap it whether it’s Category A, B, S, or N.
