Do I have to be present when the car is collected?

No. We do need someone to be with the car when it’s picked up, but it doesn’t have to be the registered keeper or owner. We ask that your nominated person has a form of photo ID with them that they can show our collection partner – a driving licence or passport is fine. If you cannot supply a V5C document with your car, we also ask that your chosen person is also able to show a utility bill dated that’s dated within the last 3 months.

My circumstances have changed, and I no longer want to scrap my car. Is that okay?

We understand that you may not want to scrap your car, even after accepting a quote. If you change your mind, please let us know, so our collection partners do not make a wasted journey.

Will you buy my scrap car in Birmingham if it has flat tyres?

Can I be paid for my car before you collect?
